Valdez is a four-piece rock band from Philadelphia comprised of singer/guitarist Simon Godfrey, bassist Tom Hyatt, keyboardist Joe Cardillo, & drummer Scott Miller.

Simon Godfrey had fronted the UK band Tinyfish for 5 years before moving from the UK to live and work full time in the US. In those first weeks he met Echolyn bassist Tom Hyatt during a night out at a Philly comedy club.  They began getting together Thursday evenings just to play songs.  They were later joined in those sessions by Joe Cardillo and Scott Miller, both of whom have played in a wide variety of bands throughout the tristate area.  The chemistry proved so good, the four decided to form a band and named it Valdez after a ’70s band Joe was a part of.

Dear Forbidden is female-fronted rock trio based in the Philadelphia area.  Distorted guitars paint the backdrop for haunting melodies sung from a letter that was never meant to be sent.  The band released their first EP in March of 2016 titled Glitter & Dissonance, followed by a six-city tour through the Midwest to Nashville and Washington D.C.  They are presently working on a new EP to be released this spring.
